It is my first ever review on a makeup product and I am really glad that the product is none other than Huda beauty”s Rose gold eyeshadow palette, which is almost everyone’s favourite at the moment.
Let’s start with colour range. It has 18 colours in it with the combination of 10 mattes, 2 shimmery and 6 textured shadows which are dense foil pressed pigments.
Textured shadows are really creamy, better to apply with finger tips, but because of my long nails, I like to use flat brush and it also works wonderfully.
Pressed pearl or shimmery shadows are really creamy as well and easy to blend. Can be used as a highlighter if you want, but it won’t be that intense.
Matte shadows are my all time favourite, really pigmented, soft and blend like a dream. Even though everyone calls me a ‘Golden Girl’, because I love my bling bling, but at the same time I prefer matte shadows on eyes instead of shimmery. But recently I found myself in love with glitters but you can see subtleness of mattes is still there in my work. This is the another reason why I love this palette so much, because it is the best combo of the colours and textures.
Pans are pretty big as comparative to Anastasia Beverly Hills palette. In saying that, my love for Anastasia’s products is pure as, so do not take me wrong. Huda rose gold palette is bit pricey. It is $65 with shipping it gets even more expensive. But thank god, one of my beautiful clients told me about this website called ‘Cultbeauty.co.uk and if you purchase over $70 or $75 from this site, then shipping is free and yes, it was amazing because I hate paying for shipping as we all do I guess. Packaging is cheap looking, but I am not too fussed about the look even though I like glamorous and expensive looking things, but I always appreciate quality than the looks. It doesn’t have mirror in it but again I never used those mirrors ever to do my makeup, so it’s of no use for me.
So over all, even with a few negatives, this palette is still one of my favourites.I absolutely adore this palette. Because of it’s colour range, very universal, matte neutrals to pops of colour, which means, you can use this palette for everyday looks to party looks to even bridal looks.
I would highly recommend this palette, you guys! Try it and let me know, what do you think about this palette?
